  • Power Generation
    • - The solar panels (Photovoltaic Modules) absorb sunlight and produce Direct Current (DC) electricity.
    • - The DC output is affected by irradiance, panel efficiency and temperature.
    • - Measurements Made: Voltage, Current, Temperature.
  • Conversion Stage
    • - DC is converted to an AC inverter and can be used in the grid, loads and storage systems.
    • - The inverters are fitted with built-in power output, efficiency, and fault code sensors.
    • - Measurements Made: AC Power production, efficiency percentage, frequency, power factor, fault/error codes.
  • Data Acquisition Layer
    • - Raw data is collected by IoT Gateways / Data Loggers on:
      • a) Inverters
      • b) Meters (energy meters, smart meters)
